1. Who can be the member of JNU Mountaineering Club?

Ans. This club is for the promotion of adventure sports and activities among the students of Jawaharlal University, therefore only the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University can be members of JNUMC.

2. How can I become a member of JNU Mountaineering Club? 

Ans. The membership of JNUMC is opened twice during a year, once in March and then again in August. Whenever it is opened, the posters of the announcement are pasted in every hostel, school building and dhabhas in the campus. Moreover, the current year members are informed by email and the Club's Fan page on Facebook as well as whats new link on the website are updated regularly.

3. For how long my membership is valid?

Ans. Your membership will be valid till 31st March of the next year or till the validity of your JNU Identity Card (Whichever is earlier).

4. I had taken membership in March, do I need to renew my membership in August?

Ans. If you have taken membership in March, then you need not renew it in August, It will be valid till 31st March of the next year.

5. Why should I take the membership of the JNUMC?

Ans. Being member of JNU Mountaineering Club gives you lot of benefits, firstly, during any program a member is always given preference over a non-member. Secondly, Club members are given refund in various programs of the club sponsered by Sports office of the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
